Dogs Love Essential Oils Too!

Meet our love Pepper….

Pepper has blessed our life with a tremendous amount of love, long walks, and happiness and she loves essential oils.

 

Below are a few of her favorite recipes.

Pepper running on the Oregon Coast

 

Calming Blend ~ Diffuser Blends 

3 drops Frankincense, 3 drops Wild Orange diffuse

3 drops Calming Blend, 3 drops Lavender

 

Oops Accidents Happen ~ Natural Carpet Deodorizer 

Clean up mess and soak up area with a damp cloth.

Mix  1 cup of baking with  10 drops  Cleansing Blend mix then sprinkle on wet area and let sit for an hour then vacuum repeat as necessary.

 

Deodorizer Spray 

Mix 15 drops of Purify & 5 drops Lemongrass  in a 15oz spray bottle and use as needed.

 

Critter Repellent Shampoo or Spray

Add the following to 8oz. of all natural shampoo base:

5 drops Repellent Blend

3 drops Cleansing Blend

4 drops Lemongrass

8 drops Peppermint

4 drops Lemon

2 drops Geranium

3 drops Lavender

For spray, simply substitute 8ox of purified water for 8oz. of shampoo base.

Spray your dog, bedding and yourself!

 

Homemade Critter Repellent Collar  

1/2 teaspoon rubbing alcohol

4 garlic oil capsules

1 drops Cedarwood

1 drops Arborvitae

1 drop Lavender

1 drop Lemon

1 drop Thyme

Mix ingredients in a medium bowl. Soak a pet collar in the mixture for 25 to 30 minutes. Lay out to dry; place on animal’s neck. Repeat once or twice a month.

 

Anti-Itch Wash 

1 Cup of Fractionated Coconut Oil

1/2 Cup of Unscented Castile Soap

1/4 Cup of Oat Milk (soak oats in water, drain oats and use the water as “oat milk”)

2 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil

2 drops of Lavender Essential Oil
