I am sure this is associated with the vast array of caffeinated beverages on the market, the “go-go-go” lifestyle that many of us are exposed to, the high levels of stress we experience, and the toxicity that exists in the world that infiltrates nearly every aspect of our lives.
And guess what…

SLEEP IS REALLY IMPORTANT!
If this is an area of challenge for you, then I highly recommend the following:
Add the following to a roller bottle:
12 Drops of Frankincense
10 Drops of Bergamot
4 Drops of Ylang Ylang
5 Drops of Lavender

Add a few drops DDR Prime to a carrier oil and apply to the thyroid area on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off basis. (On alternate weeks, use a roller bottle with 20 drops Grapefruit essential oil, 10 drops Zendocrine Detoxification Blend, 5 drops of Peppermint essential oil, and fill the rest with fractionated coconut oil.)
(Be careful to then avoid direct sunlight to your thyroid area for 12 hours as grapefruit is photosensitive!)

Women Do Not Need To Suffer

Ladies, your body use more calcium during your menstruation cycle when compared to any other time during the month, and as you know this usually comes with many unwanted side effects.

doTERRA’s Clary Calm is amazing for balancing hormones and Grapefruit oil is powerful supporter of the liver during menstruation which can help relieve head tension caused from menstruating.

I recommend taking 4 capsules of doTERRA’s Women’s Bone Nutrients twice daily, adding 1 tablespoon of powdered magnesium in the bath ( for smooth muscle relief of cramps). placing 4 drops of Grapefruit oil under your tongue, and placing 4 drops Grapefruit over your liver ( with a carrier oil).

Additionally, you can roll Clary Calm over the ovaries and uterus as needed throughout the day.

Bonus Tip: Drink lots of water!

Delicious doTERRA Smoothie Recipes

I always love this simple treat! You’ll need:

-1 Cup Almond Milk
-1 Scoop TerraGreens™
-2 Scoops Slim & Sassy® Vanilla TrimShake
-1/2-2/3 Cup Frozen Blueberries
-3 Drops Slim & Sassy® Essential Oil Blend
Blend all ingredients over ice thoroughly for one minute, then pour into mason jars or your favorite glass.

 

Kale & Pineapple

 Get the following ingredients together:
-1 Cup Coconut Milk
-1 Handful of Kale
-1 Small Apple (sliced)
-2 Handfuls Frozen Pineapple Chunks (around 1.5 cups)

-1 Handful Ice Cubes

Support your adrenal glands naturally

Maintaining healthy adrenal glands (adrenals) is a key to overall wellness and longevity. Unfortunately, due to our stressed lifestyle, most of us suffer from adrenal fatigue.

Signs of adrenal fatigue are weight gain or loss, salt/sugar cravings, loss or low libido, brain fog, low Blood Pressure, frequent illness or lowered immunity, fatigue after physical and/or mental exertion, irritability, and difficulty in sleeping.

There are three types of adrenal dysregulation: tired and wired, can’t sleep, increase in energy in the evening and exhausted all the time.

Lifestyle choices that support your adrenals: 

Sleep, Sleep, Sleep. Going to bed and getting up at the same time every day.

Go to bed before 10pm.

Staying in bed until 9am, the most restorative time for your adrenals is between 7am-9am

Hydration – divide your weight by two, drink that number in oz of filtered water daily. Add 3-5 drops of your favorite citrus oil (doTERRA’s lemon, grapefruit or wild orange) per 20-30oz of water.

Lower carb breakfast: protein and vegetables

Lower carb lunch: protein and veggies

Quality protein/vegetables/complex carb dinner

Snacks may be needed to maintain blood sugar balance

DIY Deep Hair Conditioner

Did you know that you can use essential oils for hair? As gentle, natural components derived from the earth, certain essential oils can promote healthy-looking hair. While many hair products on the market are filled with chemicals, using essential oils for hair provides you with a safe, natural way to support beautiful locks. I recently made this DIY Deep Hair Conditioner at home using some of my favorite doTERRA essential oils—Peppermint and Geranium. With only a few ingredients and your choice of essential oils, you can easily make this essential oil deep conditioner at home to give your hair a smooth, healthy shine.

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons coconut oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 drops doTERRA essential oils
Stand or hand mixer

A few great essential oils for your hair include: Lavender, Peppermint, Rosemary, Geranium, and Clary Sage. You can use one or all five of the essential oils in your deep conditioner.

Directions:
Put coconut oil, olive oil, and essential oils in mixing bowl.
Mix on medium/high speed for 5 minutes or until ingredients are whipped to a thick and creamy consistency.
Once whipped, apply to clean dry hair.
Comb through with wide tooth comb to evenly distribute.
Let sit 15-20 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and style as desired.
Repeat once a week or as often as desired.
Enjoy your soft, healthy, and chemical-free hair!
